NJ Asian American Law Enforcement Officers Association

The NJAALEOA is one of the few law enforcement entities that offers the public associate membership. Yearly dues are $35.00 and an application can be printed by clinking on to membership. Associate membership consists of those citizens who are supportive of Asian Americans in law enforcement as well as supportive of the law enforcement community as a whole.


The current 2008 executive board consists of the following personnel:

Joel Villabroza, Sgt. At Arms (Jersey City PD)

Robert May, President Emeritus (Port Authority of NY & NJ PD)

Herbert Whitehouse and Benjamin Choi are legal consuls for the association

The association has answered hundreds of questions from NJAALEOA associate members as well as from others.


The association constantly seeks resumes of Asian Americans who are US citizens, no older than 35 years old and wish to seek a career in law enforcement. The NJAALEOA is a non profit organization. The sworn members of the association do not get paid to conduct any of the programs the association produces for the public. Corporate sponsorship is always sought. If you are interested in sponsorship with the association please call (732) 405 - 2860.
